A normal flow
Intake
A history gathers the goal, current medicines, past conditions, allergies, and other details relevant to the request.
Back-and-forth
The clinician can ask a new question when an answer changes the picture.
Plan
The result may be a prescription, a request for more information, an in-person step, or no treatment.
Follow-up
The service explains how results, problems, refills, and later questions are handled.
What Nevada allows
As of September 2026, Nevada counts a live video visit or a phone-only call as telehealth.
It also counts information, such as photos or forms, sent ahead for the clinician to review later. A fax or an email alone does not count.
That rule does not mean a phone call alone is enough for every prescription.
As of September 2026, the clinician still needs a Nevada license when the patient is in Nevada.
