Read behind the claim

Use the source that can answer the question

One source rarely answers everything. Approval, professional licenses, pharmacy licenses, problem reports, and prices live in different places.

Review product and preparation

A useful source trail

  1. Start with the exact claim

Write it as one sentence: approved, licensed, tested, priced, or available.

  2. Choose the record

Use FDA for drug approval, a Nevada board for a license, and the plan for coverage.

  3. Check the name

Match the spelling, role, ingredient, form, and business name.

  4. Check the date

Rules and prices can change, so keep the source date beside the note.

  5. Keep the limit

A record proves only what it actually records.

Where to read more

Each chapter ends with a small box listing the government and professional sources behind its main points.

If a short sentence here leaves you unsure, ask the clinician or pharmacist to explain how the rule applies to you.
