When something goes wrong

Match the problem to the right response

Urgent symptoms, medicine errors, problem reports, license complaints, and billing disputes are different lanes. Start with the one that fits.

Open the glossary

Start with speed

First ask if the problem is urgent.

If it is, use emergency help.

If it is not, name the kind of problem.

Then pick the route that fits.

Keep the facts short and clear.

Use the best fit.

Save each key fact.

Medicine problem or report

Wrong amount or medicine error

Poison Control offers free, private help at any hour.

Report a suspected problem

A patient can report a medicine problem to FDA’s free reporting program, called MedWatch. MedWatch collects reports so FDA can spot problems; it does not treat anyone.

Nevada complaint routes

Keep a clean record

Save the label, container, receipt, messages, dates, names, and a short account of what happened.

A factual timeline makes a report or complaint easier to understand.
